Lowlands Medieval Combat

We are a non-profit organization which locally and nationally simulates historical combat in a sporting manner much like paintball does modern combat.
We use melee and projectile weapons in full-contact combat which safely incorporates full-force hits, shield kicks, shield bashing, and grappling; there are
no classes, no class abilities, and no magic. Combat in our organization is purely based on skill. Practices and battles are held locally at Gemini Springs.
National battles we participate in range from the 100s to over 1,500 fighters on the field at once. Getting started is inexpensive and we have
plenty of loaner equipment available for new fighters. Interested? Come on out, we'll be glad to get you started.

Practices (Weekly)
We practice at Gemini Springs (in the field directly by the exit back to the main road) on Saturdays from 11am to 2pm

Practice Status: Off-season until August 13, 2011 - there are currently NO practices running.

Day Battles (Monthly)
Statewide "Day Battles" are also held at Gemini Springs because of our chapter's centralized location in the state.
Day Battles pit all of Florida's combatants, from 6 active groups across the state, against each other and are typically held at our park once a month.
Day Battles are held one Saturday a month at Gemini Springs' main field from 12:00pm to 6:30pm. Dates will be announced at practice, in the message boards, and on the Facebook group.
